Answer:
When an invoice is created, the creator is billing a client for work that has been completed. For a Trust Request, however, the creator is requesting money from a client for work that they will one day do.
When you reduce the amount of a bill, you are writing off a part of your income. When you reduce the amount of a Trust Request, you are reducing the amount requested. This is technically not a write off.
