Can a Client Pay an Outstanding Shared Bill via Email When the Clio Account is Cancelled?

Objective:

  • If a Clio Account is Cancelled Can a Client Still Pay a Shared Bill?
  • Can a Client Use the "Pay online now" link in Shared Bill email after an Account has been Cancelled?
  • If I have Cancelled my Clio Account can a Client use the Shared Email link to still pay the outstanding bill?

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Additional Information:

Only for Bills that have been shared via email, not Clio Connect.

Answer:

Yes, the Client will be able to use the link in the email to pay for the outstanding bill. This will be process through Law Pay independently of Clio.
