Issue: After Removing Reminder Not Able To Save Calendar Event or Matter

Issue:

  • "Error: Unable to create event" when a Reminder is removed during Event or Matter creation

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

  • For Matters, this occurs when a Reminder on a Statute of Limitations is blank. 
  • For Calendars, this occurs when a Reminder on the Event is blank.

Cause:

This occurs when a Reminder with no set user is removed, and then the Matter or Event is saved.

Workaround:

Either:

  • Add a new Reminder and select a valid Reminder recipient
  • Refresh the form, and resubmit it without selecting "Add new reminder"
