Does Designating a Custom Field 'Default' Add it to Existing Contacts or Matters?

  • Do default custom fields get added to existing contact or matters automatically?

Answer:

The custom field will be added to matters on a go forward basis. You will have to use the + Add a custom field button within the existing contact or matter to include it. This has been submitted as a feature request to our development team. Get in touch with Clio Support to add your vote!
