Error: 'Please Re-Add Expense Categories to a Select Group of Your Expenses'

Issue:

  • When adding expenses, an error shows up: "Please re-add expense categories to a select group of your expenses ".

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

  • n/a

Cause:

  • A temporary disruption may have caused expense categories of expenses in a specific date range to disappear.  

Resolution:

  1. Click on Activities
  2. Specify a Date range (specified in the error)
  3. For each Expense:
    1. Click Edit
    2. Add an Expense Category
    3. Click Save entry
