Why Can't I Find Transactions Entered Into Clio Manage?

Objective:

  • My transaction is missing from Clio and I am trying to locate it

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

  • You can use Command + F (Mac) or CTRL + F (PC) to search the page for specific amounts or keywords. 

Answer:

A common cause of this is that a transaction may have been created without a matter or client associated to it.

E.g. If a transaction was entered at the client level (e.g created from the Contact > Transactions sub-tab with no matter specified), the transaction will not be viewable from the matter level (i.e. the Matter > Transactions sub-tab).
