Clio Connect User Cannot See Shared Document

Issue:

  • A document was shared with a Clio Connect user/co-counsel, but when they click on View Document, they cannot see the document.

Environment:

  • Clio Manage
  • Clio Connect

Additional Information:

n/a

Cause:

Clio Connect user has a separate Clio law firm account set up under the same email address.

Resolution:

  1. Have the Clio Connect user click on their initials (at the bottom left for a law firm account/top right for a Clio Connect account)
  2. Under Switch accounts, click the dropdown menu 
  3. Click the firm name under the Clio Connect title (instead of Clio)
