Additional Information:

Answer:

A Custom Field Set is a set of selected custom fields that you may choose to tailor to specific workflows.

For example, if I created two Individual Custom Fields, one named "Plaintiff Name" and one named "Defendant Name", Custom Field Sets allows you to group these individual Custom Fields under a set titled "Civil Litigation".  Further, when opening a litigation Matter in Clio, you can apply this Custom Field Set to the Matter and Clio will ask you to fill in the "Plaintiff Name" and "Defendant Name" Custom Fields.
