This article covers iOS security and managing settings.
To add an extra layer of security, you can set up a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to protect your Clio account on your device. You will be prompted the first time you sign in to the Clio app, and you can add one at any time within the app's Settings.
In the app, tap the Settings icon in the upper-left corner.
Tap Security.
Select PIN.
Enter a 4-digit PIN code.
Once set up, any time you go to the Clio iOS app, you'll need to enter the PIN number you've selected to gain access to your Clio data.
You can modify your PIN number at any time as well as remove the PIN option entirely right from the app. To do so, return to the PIN Settings area and tap the appropriate button to Change or Remove PIN.
You will be prompted to enter your current 4-digit PIN. If you are removing the PIN, then no further action is required. If you are changing the PIN, re-enter a new PIN number.
If you lose your iOS device or have forgotten your PIN number, you can deauthorize the app from the desktop app. In the desktop app, go to Settings and, under the Personal section, click on "Clio Mobile Apps".
From here you can deauthorize your Clio mobile app.
If you have an iOS device that supports it, you can enable log in with Touch ID or Face ID. To enable Touch ID or Face ID, go to the Security screen and tap "Touch ID & PIN" or "Face ID & Pin."
Then tap the "Enable Face ID" button.
You will then be prompted to enter a new backup PIN.
To change the Face or Touch ID backup PIN or to disable Face or Touch ID for the Clio iOS app, go back to the "Face ID & PIN" screen in the security settings, then enter your PIN.
If you have two-factor authentication set up on your Clio user account, you will be prompted to enter your two-factor code when logging into the app.
You can choose to filter your Contacts by type or Client status. This is done via 'Filter contacts' on the Contacts screen.
The order in which the Global Create menu options are displayed can be customized. This can be done through Settings > Customization > Customize global create menu. To ensure that your most-used workflows are easy to complete, drag and drop the order.
