Accessing Matters

When you log into the Clio iOS app, your Recently Viewed and Edited matters are listed across the Home screen.

When you are working with a specific Matter and you navigate away to another area of the app, tapping on the Home tab will return you to the full list of your Matters.

Filtering Matters by Status, Practice Area, and Contacts

To filter the Matters list, tap on the "Filters" button at the top right of the Matters screen. On the Filters screen, select the criteria by which you want to filter your Matters, then tap the "Done" button.

Matter Options

When you tap on a Matter you will see more about that particular Matter. 

Here you can add items like Event, Time entry, Expense, Task, Note, Document, Email Log, Phone Log, and Secure Message to this matter.

Clicking on the vertical dots in the top right corner will allow you to update the matter status:

Further down on the Matter details page is where we can see Contact details, Matter details as well as any Custom fields available on the Matter.

Financial Details

The Financial details card will show you the Outstanding balance, available Matter trust funds, and how much has yet to be billed (Work in progress). 

It will also show the Matter Budget and total time and expenses recorded for the Matter.
