If I Already Have a Clio Connect Account with a Different Attorney, Do I Need to Create a New Account for my Current Attorney?

Objective:

  • Client has Clio Connect account with different firm already
  • Do I need a new Clio Connect account for my new attorney?
  • Do I only use one Clio Connect account?
  • How many Clio Connect accounts do I need?
  • Do I need a separate Clio Connect login for a different firm?

Environment:

  • Clio Manage
  • Clio Connect

Additional Information:

  • To switch between Clio Accounts (Clio Connect and full Clio accounts), see here.
  • User cannot be connected to more than one Clio account as a full Clio user (each full user must have their own, unique email address)

Answer:

No.

  • A full Clio user can be connected to any number of Clio accounts as a Clio Connect user
  • A Clio Connect user can be connected to any number of Clio accounts as a Clio Connect user
