How to Enable JavaScript in Your Web Browser

Objective:

  • To enable JavaScript in your web browser for use with Clio

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

Please make certain that you are using an up to date version of your web browser.  For the most current versions of suggested web browsers for use with Clio please click here.

Procedure:

Enable JavaScript in Google Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click Settings.
  3. At the bottom, click Advanced.
  4. Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. Turn on Allowed (recommended).

Enable JavaScript in Safari

  1. With Safari on MacOS. Click on Safari Menu and select "Preferences…" ( or press Command+,) If you are using Safari on Windows. ...
  2. In the "Preferences" window select the "Security" tab. In the "Security" tab section "Web content" mark the "Enable JavaScript" checkbox.
  3. Close Preferences popup window and reload your webpage.   

Enable JavaScript in Firefox 23 and Up

  1. Open Firefox. ...
  2. Type about: config into the address bar and press Enter or Return. ...
  3. Click I'll be careful, I promise to continue. ...
  4. Click in the search bar, then type javascript . ...
  5. If javascript . ...
  6. Refresh your browser by clicking the Refresh button.

Enable JavaScript in Microsoft Edge Windows 10:

  1. Launch the Edit Group Policy program.
  2. Expand the User Configuration folder.
  3. Expand the Administrative Templates folder.
  4. Expand the Windows Components folder.
  5. Expand the Microsoft Edge folder.
  6. Double-click Allows you to run scripts, like Javascript.
  7. Choose Disabled, and click Ok to confirm.     

Enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer.

  1. Select the "Tools" menu. ...

  5. Scroll down and change the Active Scripting setting. ...

Enable JavaScript in Android browser

  3. Select "Advanced" from the Settings screen.
  4. Check the box next to "Enable Javascript" to turn the option on.

Enable JavaScript in Safari for iOS (iphone, ipod, ipad)

  1. Hit on Settings icon.
  2. Scroll down until you see "Safari" Click on it to bring up the option page.
  3. Turn on "JavaScript" option and you have done enable JavaScript in Safari on iOS.
