How Do I Do a Hard Page Refresh in my Browser?

Objective:

  • Google Chrome full page download
  • Completely reload page Firefox
  • Hard refresh Safari
  • Hard refresh Edge

Environment:

  • Google Chrome web browser
  • Mozilla Firefox web browser
  • Microsoft Edge web browser
  • Safari web browser

Additional Information:

  • Hard page refreshes completely re-download the current webpage and can be an alternative to doing a cache clear.

Procedure:

Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge

Windows

  • Hold Ctrl then click the Refresh icon Screen_Shot_2020-03-31_at_3.22.26_PM.png

Or

  • Ctrl + F5 on your keyboard

Mac

  • Hold Shift then click the Refresh icon Screen_Shot_2020-03-31_at_3.22.26_PM.png

Or

  • Command + Shift + R on your keyboard

Firefox

Windows

  • Ctrl + Shift + R on your keyboard

Or

  • Ctrl + F5 on your keyboard

Mac
