How do I Update an Employee Contact's Primary Email Address?

Objective:

  • Change an employee Contact primary email address
  • Can I update an employee's primary email address?
  • Where can the primary email address for a company's staff member be updated?

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

  • This feature will only be visible on Company Type Contacts.

Answer:

  1. Navigate to the Contact you would like to update
  2. Go to the associated company Contact
  3. When looking at the company Contact's dashboard, find the Employees section
  4. Click on the employee's name that you wish to edit
  5. Select Edit Contact in the top right corner
  6. Scroll down to the Email section, and click Add email address
  7. Select the Primary check box to the right of the email you would like to list as their primary email address
  8. Click Save Contact in the bottom right corner
