Issue: New User is Not Receiving Email Invitation to Clio


  • New firm employee does not see the user invitation in their email inbox

  1. The email is in a folder other than the inbox
  2. The email provider is blocking emails coming from Clio

Resolution 1:

  1. Have the user open their email
  2. Type in the word 'Clio' into the search bar of their email
  3. Press Enter on their keyboard
  4. If the user is still not able to see the invitation email, please contact our Support Team.

Resolution 2:

  1. Send the user invitation to a different email provider, i.e. - send it to Gmail instead of Outlook
  2. If the user gets the invitation in an alternative email, then they can change their login email to the other email provider (activate under Gmail and change it to Outlook) after activating their user account.

Resolution 3:

  1. Add Clio to the whitelist
