Why Are Payment Plans Showing Stopped Status?


  • Payment Plans in the Clio Payments tab are stopped for some reason

There was an account created in LawPay that was linked to an incorrect account in Clio


  1. Click Settings
  2. Click Clio Payments
  3. Verify that the Clio accounts match LawPay accounts - for example, you may have Operating Account 1 in Clio linked with Operating Account 2 in LawPay
  4. If the account that was newly created in LawPay was not created in Clio, go to the Accounts tab to created it
  5. Click Create another Clio bank account for connection, if you need to create a connection with the newly created account in LawPay
