Why Was a Duplicate Clio Folder Created When Re-Syncing My 3rd Party Document Storage Account?

Question:

  • Re-Syncing Google Drive
  • Re-Syncing OneDrive
  • Re-Syncing Dropbox
  • Why do I have 2 Clio Folders?

Environment:

  •  Clio Manage

Additional Information:

  • n/a

Answer:

If the Clio folder name or location was changed within a 3rd Party Document Storage Integration, Clio will not be able to map to it which may cause duplication for a new Clio folder.

The Clio folder needs to remain named Clio and in its original location when initially set up.

If you have moved it or changed the name, move it back to its original location and name it Clio with no spaces and a capital C and re-sync again.
