What Does the "Aggregate Line Item Taxes on QuickBooks Online Invoices" Setting Do?

  • Clio Manage
  • Quickbooks Online

Additional Information:

  • At this time, Clio syncs taxes as a part of invoices. Clio does not sync with QBO's Sales Tax Centre

Answer:

Toggling the "Aggregate line item taxes on QuickBooks Online invoices" checkbox on the QBO sync settings page will change how taxes on your bills sync over to QBO.

With the checkbox unchecked, each activity on a Clio bill will be synced to QBO, along with a separate line for the tax on each activity, like so:

With the checkbox checked, all taxes charged on the invoice will sync to QBO as a single aggregated line at the end of the invoice, like so:
