Can I Add a Credit Note to a Paid Bill?

No, you cannot add a Credit Note to a Paid Bill. All Payments must be removed first from the Bill before a Credit Note can be applied. See instructions below on how to remove payments from a Bill and apply a Credit Note:

  1. Click Billing
  2. Select the drop down menu next to the Paid Bill and click View Bill
  3. Scroll to the Payments section (located directly above the Bill itself)
  4. Delete all Payments from the Bill
  5. Once all Payments have been removed from the Bill, you will now be able to add a Credit Note
  6. To Apply a Credit Note, select the sub-tab named Credit Note next to where Payments were removed 
  7. Click on the button Add Credit Note
  8. Add the desired amount in the appropriate text box and click Save Credit Note
