Can I choose to show folders before files when sorting and viewing my documents?

Objective:

  • I'd like to see my folders first before my files when viewing or sorting my documents in Clio Manage, to make it easier for me to find and navigate to the right subfolder.

Environment:

  • Clio Manage - Web

Additional Information:

Answer:

  • Yes, you can view your folders before other files. To enable/disable this setting, when viewing your documents click on the "Sort" options button, and toggle the setting switch to turn it on/off.

  • Notes:
    • This setting is only applicable when sorting by the "Name", "Last edit at",  or the "Uploaded date" columns.  (Clicking on a column heading will sort your files by that column, and clicking again will toggle between an ascending and descending sort)
    • This setting is only available for Clio Documents, and is not available when viewing the Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, NetDocs, or other documents integrations
