Why is One Clio User Able to Search and Find A Document when another User is not?

Question:

  • How can one Clio User be able to see a Document when another cannot?

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

  • n/a

Answer:

Check to see if the document is saved in folder that is attached to a Matter where the Matter Permissions are restricted to only certain Clio Users or Groups. If it is in the document folder within a Matter that has restricted Matter Permissions, Move that document to the Contact folder. All Contact Folders are viewable by all Firm Clio Users.
