  • Please note that expense line items are imported into Clio based on the category. If a category for a line item on the expense does not match the one in Clio's QBO Configuration settings, that particular line item will not sync into Clio as part of the expense.

Answer:

Yes. If you create an Expense in Quickbooks Online with multiple customers on a single expense, the expense will still sync into Clio as a single expense for the total of the expense (assuming all line items on the expense are for the correct Category). The expense will not be assigned to any Matter in Clio.
