What Do I Do When I See "Your Sync with Quickbooks Online is Not Up to Date"?

Question:

  • Why am I Seeing "Your Sync with Quickbooks Online is Not Up to Date"?

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

  • This message will appear if the Quickbooks Online Sync Status webpage has been left open for more than 10 minutes. This page does not indicate any issue with the Quickbooks Online sync. It is to indicate that the Quickbooks Online Sync has information on it may be stale if a sync has occurred since the page loaded. This information may include the "Last sync at" date and time and the Sync Failures.

Answer:

  • Click the "Refresh" link or refresh the page in your browser to show the latest sync data
    • The message will be replaced with a message stating "Clio is syncing with QuickBooks Online account."
    • The spinning arrows icons beside this new message does NOT indicate that a sync is currently happening, but to show that the sync with Quickbooks is connected and syncing when needed. This icon will always remain spinning.
