If a payment was accepted via Secure Payment Link, you will receive an email to Link the payment to a Client or a Matter. This is because the payment is not associated to a specific Client, Matter or Invoice as it is a general payment link to either the Operating or Trust Account.
If the payment was received directly onto a Bill or Trust Request, no email to link will be sent as the payment is already associated to a specific Invoice.
