Why are there Duplicate Clio Payments?

Question:

  • Why are there two Clio Payments for the same amount in the Clio Payments tab?

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

  • n/a

Cause:

A client paid using the bill share email and then via a Secure Payment Link.

Answer:

Because the client made one payment towards a bill using the share bill email and another payment using a Secure Payment Link that were provided or had access to. 

If the reasons above do not apply, please contact Support.
