Question:

Why do I see a timer next to the edit button of my time entries?
Why do I see a timer on my time entries and not for other firm users?
What does the timer button next to my time entry do?

Additional Information:

If the time entry was not created within the present day, when you click on the timer, that time entry will be duplicated and a new timer will be started.
Finally, if a time entry has been placed on an invoice, you will no longer see the Edit button with the Timer next to it, however will simply see a Duplicate button.

Answer:

When you record a Time entry or a Time entry is recorded with you as the Firm user, a timer will be displayed next to the Edit button for that Time entry. This is implemented as an easy way for you to continue running time on your Time entries.
