Error: "Something went wrong with Clio desktop app"


  • Certain file(s) will not open via Clio Launcher / Clio desktop app, yield a "Something went wrong with Clio desktop app" error
  • Getting a "Document Unavailable" error when trying to open a document using Clio Launcher / Clio desktop app

  • If this error occurs for all Documents, please contact Support at 1-888-858-2546 x 2 


The file you are trying to open may be corrupted.



If the file has just been uploaded, have the user (or client) resave the Document on their computer, and upload it again. Otherwise, you may be able to access an older version of the file in Clio by following these steps.
