Clio Drive Appears and Shows as Syncing, but Empty When Opened

Objective:

  • Why does Clio Drive show as syncing but nothing is showing up?
  • I can see my Clio Drive on my directory, but clicking on it shows nothing
  • "updateItemsWithMissingPaths batch skipped" errors on log file

Environment:

  • Clio Drive

Additional Information:

Procedure:

  1. Close out of the Clio Desktop App
  2. Delete the Drive folder(s)
    • For Windows: Navigate to the AppData folder and delete the Drive folder(s) under %APPDATA%\Clio Launcher
      • See the manual procedure below to find the AppData folder
    • For Mac: Navigate to the Clio Launcher under ~/Library/Application Support (macOS) and delete the Drive folder(s)
      • See the manual procedure below to find the Clio Launcher folder
  3. Open the Clio Desktop App

PC

Note: Some folders may be invisible, to make them visible please see Show hidden files 

  1. Open a new file explorer window (click Ctrl + E)
  2. Click on Users
  3. Click on the User name you use to log into your PC
  4. Click AppData, then Roaming

Mac

Note: Some folders may be invisible, to make them visible please see Show hidden files 

  1. Open Spotlight Search (Default: Command+Space)
  2. Enter ~/Library
  3. Open the Library folder under Folders within the results
  4. Navigate to Caches and delete the Clio Launcher folder
  5. Return to the Library folder
  6. Navigate to Application Support, delete the Clio Launcher folder then Application Support/Caches, and delete the Clio Launcher folder
