Am I notified via email when a customer makes a payment through the Secure Payment Link?

Question:

  • What do the email notifications I receive when a contact makes a payment through the Secure Payment Link look like?

Environment:

  • Clio Payments
  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

Answer: 

When a client makes a payment through the Secure Payment Link, you will receive a series of two emails - the first when the payment is made, the second once the payment has processed and is ready to be linked to a client or matter.


Email 1: 
(No action needed)

Email 2:  (Action to link payment to Client or Matter now available)

By clicking the "Link to a client or matter" box, you will be navigated to the All Transactions section of Clio Manage where you may then link the payment to a client or matter.
