Issue:
- Clio Drive does not mount, and the ‘Drive Status’ is ‘Something went wrong with Drive’. Clio Desktop logs include a message stating ‘System error 67 has occurred’.
Environment:
- Clio Desktop
- Clio Drive
- Microsoft Windows
Additional Information:
- n/a
Cause:
There are multiple possible reasons for this. See below for a list of mitigations.
Resolution:
Windows Server Support
Certain Windows Server versions do not include support for WebDAV out of the box. Please follow the ‘Installing the WebDAV Redirector’ instructions in Microsoft’s IIS documentation, and reboot before launching Clio Desktop again.
WebClient Not Running
WebClient is a Microsoft application that is required by Drive for mounting. Verify that it is installed and running. Right-click on the Start menu > Run and enter ‘services.msc’. The list of services that appears should include Webclient, and its Startup Type should be either Automatic or Manual. Edit the service and set its startup type to Manual if this is not the case. Reboot after updating the startup type of the service.
Webclient Not Listed in Network Providers
Open Command Prompt and run the following command:
reg query HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider\HwOrder
This value of this key should contain webclient:
If webclient is not included, open the Registry Editor and navigate to ‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider’ using the folders on the left-hand side. Double-click on the HwOrder key and add webclient to the beginning of the key. Reboot after updating the registry.
Reinstalling Faster Suite
Former Faster Suite users have been able to resolve this issue by downloading and installing Faster Suite again, then uninstalling it and rebooting.
