Issue:
- User receives an error that states “There is Not Enough Space on Clio Cloud Drive” when trying to upload documents to their Faster Drive / AlphaDrive folder.
Environment:
- Clio Web App
- AlphaDrive Suite
Additional Information:
-
Your Clio Cloud Drive has unlimited storage through Clio. Faster Law provides this article as an explanation as to why you might receive this error.
Cause:
In Windows, each drive must report an actual amount of space available and an actual amount of used space (it can’t simply say “Unlimited”). To accommodate this requirement, even though you have unlimited storage through Faster Drive / AlphaDrive and Clio, the size and free space of Faster Drive / AlphaDrive will be reported as the same values as your primary drive (usually C:\). If the Faster Drive / AlphaDrive Storage surpasses this limit, you will receive the error message, but the files should still upload successfully. As always, please check to ensure the files have been successfully uploaded.
Resolution:
- Upload the files
- Exit the error message
- Check to confirm the files were successfully uploaded into Faster Drive / AlphaDrive
