KCS - How To Void a Bill with a Deleted Matter or Contact

Objective:

  • Voiding or Deleting a Bill with a Deleted associated Contact or Matter 

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Additional Information:

  • A Bill cannot be Deleted or Voided if the associated Contact or Matter is removed from Clio. To resolve the issue Recovery the Contact or Matter and open the invoice and Delete or Void. 

Procedure:

  1. Select Settings
  2. Select Recovery Bin 
  3. Locate the missing Matter or Contact by selecting filter 
  4. Select to Recover the Matter or Contact 
  5. Open the Bill 
  6. Select Actions 
  7. Select Delete or Void
