KCS - Why Are Clients Able To Respond To Shared Bills When It Says "notifications@clio.com"

Objective:

  • When I share a Bill with a Client, what email address will the client see?
  • Why does the email say it's from "notifications@clio.com" but when they reply, it goes to my login email?
  • It says "notifications@clio.com" but when they reply, it goes to the original sender

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

If you wish for the clients to not be able to reply, please share bill via Clio Connect. 

Answer:

The Client will see the email address of the User that shared the Bill or resource.
