KCS - Why Can't My Trust Requests be Paid via Credit Card?

Question:

  • Why can't I pay Trust Requests via Credit Card using Clio Payments?

Objective:

  • To Pay Trust Requests via Credit Card using Clio Payments

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Procedure:

  • Using the instructions found here ensure your Trust Account in Clio is mapped to your Trust Account in LawPay.
    • If there is no option to select your Trust Account when following the instructions linked above, this means that your Trust Account has not been connected to your LawPay Account. To add your Trust Account to your LawPay account, please contact LawPay directly at: 800-459-5798

  • Also ensure that the Trust Request has been Approved, and isn't in Draft or Pending Approval state.
